Privacy
Home Project Copilot is built around a simple principle: your project belongs to you.
Your uploads are sensitive
Contractor proposals, inspection reports, and project photographs can contain your name, address, pricing, and images of your home. We treat every upload as sensitive information.
Nothing is published
Uploaded documents and photographs are never displayed publicly and are never shown to other users of Home Project Copilot.
Secure storage
Files are stored in a private storage bucket that is not publicly readable. Files are only retrieved through short-lived, expiring links generated by our secure server code for you and for our internal review team.
How your information is used
Your project information is used to produce your review, to support you if you contact us, and to improve the quality of the product. We do not sell your information.
Payments
We do not store credit card information. Card details are handled by our payment processor.
How long we keep your files
Uploaded estimates, inspection reports, and photographs are retained for 90 days after your report is generated, then permanently deleted from storage. Your written report and project summary remain available at your private link for 12 months so you can revisit it during the job, after which the project record is deleted as well. Projects that are never paid for or never submitted are removed after 30 days of inactivity.
Deleting your project sooner
You can ask us to delete your project, documents, and photographs at any time by contacting support with your private project link. Deletion requests are completed within 7 days and remove the files from storage and the project record from our database. Backups roll off within 30 days. Anonymous, non-identifying usage statistics may be retained.
